LOCKSTITCH LTD - ROCHDALE, GR

Car was taken to this company for a gearbox repair, they had the vehicle for 5 weeks, when I got it back, it arrived with a dead battery, I finally fot it started andd straight away, I could here sounds that were not there before it was sent to them. Itook it back next day to be told by owner, nothing is wrong with it, its the age of the car, just a noise you have to live with but car was safe to drive. Took car on its first long distance drive down a motorway only for drive shaft to come off and go through gearbox. The only people that had taken the car apart were Lockstitch, the car was delivered to them on 24th May, I got back 17th August after having to listen to every excuse available as to why, no one was working on it. I got it back but they had, had it so long, the MOT ran out, that god as it turns out, that they had split a main water coolant hose and it lost all the water, had it been driven, I would of lost the engine and this is after a supposed test drive. So I have got to wait yet again for the car to be fixed but its not with that company any longer. Everytime I went there, there always seemed to be the same vehicles returned with yet further issues cause by this company, you have got the be someone with deep pockets that hate having money in them to take any vehicle there. Further the foreman is rude, I called one day to find out the progress of the job for him to actually tell me to F*** off down the phone. Four months they have has my car and I have now lost all confidence in driving it, Its now costing me more money to go and have the car checked to make sure it is safe to drive. You take your car to this place at your peril
