MIJ EXHAUST - WALSALL, WE

Regardless of what other people say, they are a good company! I recently well two months back had my exhaust system all modified with a sporty sound got to say it was class noise is an absolute beauty. Don't listen to the bad reviews they are opinions - then again opinions ain't facts ey ;) TOP CLASS SERVICE

Went today to have Cat -back performance exhaust fitted to my Jaguar XKR. The lady at the desk asked me to pay as my car was nearly ready. So I paid 774.99 for a remap and the exhaust. The young man took me to see the car and it was obvious that the middle section that connects to the cats was the original and hadn't been replaced so I complained and after waiting for what seamed to be an age I was told that the boss " J. " had offered me an amazing 50 quid of my bill...I told them I don't want a refund and that I just wanted the job i was quoted for and paid for... No way could I get an answer to the problem so first thing tomorrow I'm off to see a solicitor. KEEP CLEAR OF THESE SO CALLED EXPERTS. Oh and to add even more insult to injury the welding on one of the pipes was leaking... Good eh ?

All these guys need are Stetson Hats and their outfit will be complete. I wanted a stainless steel exhaust in my car, so contacted MIJ for a price, the price was acceptable so made an appointment to have it fitted. The only drawback was that MIJ are 200 miles away, so on the day I set off early and arrived at 10:00 as arranged only to find that they did not know the exhaust layout on my car, they thought is was the same as the previous model. They then told me that they could not fit the exhaust that day, as they did not have the correct silencer. Also, be aware that when they quote ‘From Cat to Back’ this does not include the front down pipe that contains the flexi joint (which is what had failed) that added a further £140 to the bill, I still wished to go ahead with it, and they said they would give me a call in a couple of days when they had the part, that was circa four months ago and still no call. In the meantime the pipe failed completely, so I had to have mild steel system fitted locally, I had therefore driver 400 miles for nothing more than a cup of coffee.

absolutely the place to go, i was looking for a great sporty sound ( i got it within 2 hours) really helpful was shown round my car i told them what i had in mind they then told me what !!!!!!! they had in mind took their word for it ( its what they do ) saved £300 on price quoted could.nt recommend enough 100% i will use m i j again ,,,,, no brainer to go elsewhere richie from coventry

I would never go to MIJ performance ever again and i recommend that no one use's them - if you buy and exhaust or any part of them and it breaks they will not issue a replacement even though mine was only a few months old. They should be ashamed to call themselves a company - i will only give them bad reviews to other people like i am doing now - if you want a proper exhaust which has been stress tested etc for your car go to a reputable manufacturer NOT these cowboys bending metal in a hope it works and when it doesnt they turn there head. Also never buy a sports cat off them as the quality is unbelieveable poor. I hate being ripped off and told to bugger off.
