Attempted to order a stair runner from this company. I was quoted £150 for fitting, underlay and grippers etc, then a man abruptly took the phone from the woman I had been dealing with and said the fitting would actually be £250. I declined since I had bee quoted £80 for the fitting etc elsewhere. I then ordered the carpet only from Stonegate via Ebay, only to have this order immediately cancelled by them on the pretext that it was out of stock. It had not been out of stock 5 minutes earlier when they were giving me a rip off quote for their fitter. What a rip off, vindictive company. I will find my carpet from somewhere else!
