CALDWELL CONVENIENCE & LIQUOR STORE - BIRMINGHAM, WE

I visited the store today to buy a camelot gambling products and upon winning they paid out on the machine then refused to pay me the 100.00 GBP winnings and made me wait a whole hour. During this hour I was verbally abused whilst being told they didn't have the money and it was entirely my fault as the customer. I was called by the shopkeeper on shift a f*cking t*at and I also was told I am going to have to f*cking wait. At some point my partner got verbally abused who popped in for essentials and wasn't even there at the time of this occurring. I was going to wait anyway as I was not prepared to leave without my winnings to return back later. I had not proof of winnings as they kept it and refused to issue proof so I could return. She told me don't you f*cking trust me and was telling other customers present that I didn't fucking trust her and that is why I was standing over there. This created social embarrassment. She was shouting at me constantly with brief periods of huffing and puffing and walking off whilst abusing me verbally under her breath. She also threatened to never f*cking serve me again. I am disabled with mental health issues, Dyspraxia and also Autism. I am a vulnerable adult and felt very intimidated and threatened by there actions. I am very upset hence the bad review. I first googled their business name as a start looking towards a bad review and complaint. Upon googling I see a 0 food hygiene standards rating from environmental health 'Urgent Improvement Necessary' the lowest rating they can give. http://ratings.food.gov.uk/business/599886 I have constantly shopped there for bits and bobs in the past when I am desperate or cannot get to Tescos and have found a dead spider in the freezer as well as lots of food out of date. Food has made us ill from there shop before on more than one occasion. The shop itself is in a state of untidiness and very unhygienic on many occasions. I will be contacting Nisa there retailers to complain also and other relevant parties such as camelot head of National Lottery. This incident isn't the first and won't be the last. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS OR SHOP AND STRONGLY ADVISE IN MY OPINION TO AVOID. POOR SERVICE, VERBAL ABUSE, UNHYGIENIC, OUT OF DATE FOOD AND FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY RATING OF 0.
