LONDIS - BP ROSE COTTAGE SERVICE STATION - NEW MALDEN, SU

i put £32.35 petrol, bought sprite drink for £1.24 and i've got charged £40.31. I've checked the receipt when i got home and i was charge petrol VAT £6.47 and sprite vat £0.25 hence the total was £40.31!! .If i put £32.35 on petrol i expect to pay just £32.35 and not VAT added afterward. I've called the petrol station and the same guy who charged me would listen and cannot understand properly, he would repeatedly hang up on me. The worrying part is i've been using this petrol station for few years now without checking the receipt, just today i have! is there any complaints department here? if there is, please email me on: [email protected]

Refused service by your cashier when presenting my irish ID card which ive used in the UK for 2 years. Upon showing my passport to purchase the same he still refused me.
