J. W. BELL FUNERAL DIRECTORS - WIRRAL, ME

Arrived very late 2mins to the house before we should have been at the crem we phoned 3 times asking what was going on we're was the hearse and 2 cars we were waiting for there reply. They didn't t know it was very upsetting for all of us. It turned out they had gone to the wrong address when they arrived we got no apoLogy just a grunt it was very unprofessional never use them

Our mum chose J W Bell a number of years before she passed away, turned out to be an inspired choice. She had already planned the service out with the Celebrant and music of her own choice but the way it was carried out was 1st class. Wendy at Bell's was so compassionate and friendly and Cathy, who led the funeral, was so professional, but so sympathetic and caring. The whole staff at Bell's did a wonderful job and gave our mum the celebration she wanted for her send off. A special mention for the celebrant, Jane, who did a wonderful service in the chapel. From start to finish the funeral was perfectly planned and executed, "well done" and a big "thanks" to everyone at Bells, we really appreciated your efforts on behalf of our mum Mavis Williams.

We started funeral proceedings when Bells was ran by the Bell family and everything went well. There was a few hiccups, but they were sorted quickly, professionally and with care and compassion for my mum.

However, then Dignity took over. Mistake after mistake at such an emotional time for my family, it was unacceptable and I would advise people to stay well away from this company. The staff are very nice, but the company is horrendous! They do not even have computers for crying out loud.

The one star here is for the staff only, if we had only dealt with Bells, I would have given a 4 or 5.

A lack of sensitivity and respect was displayed to family members at a very difficult time
