Rude staff, who think that because the store is in Bootle , all customers are robbers, low life etc. The way they speak to customers on occasions is disgusting. Shop elsewhere if you can.
I have always had a great experience when visiting. I was extremely disappointed yesterday as I observed a few bad behaviours from customers...a lady and her daughter in pijama bottoms handling each lose pepper and putting them back, they did the same with other items. A lady coughing very obviously and a mask around her neck...this made me very unsettled. Please please train your staff to be more observant at this time! There were several members of staff around that seemed to be blind to what was going on!
Had a major anxiety attack due to the scan
and go app not working on the machines. Tried
4 times and didn't work. The man asked one of
the staff to checkout at a till. This set me
off. To think I had scanned and packed to
have to put it all on the belt when I
couldn't do it was too much and I broke down.
I was taken to the third from the end till by
an amazing work colleague called Maureen who
said she understood what it was like to have
anxiety and she unpacked and scanned the shop
and even gave us money off for the
inconvenience. She then helped pack the
trolley and wished us a good day and
apologised for the trouble. She made me leave
calm
