I was disgusted with lamb shoulder steaks it was all bone & fat the meat wouldn’t have filled a teaspoon

Classic pub henrys product contains 99% bone & 1% meat not 66% lamb i had 6 small pieces of bone not 2 lamb henrys disgustng product

Lamb Henry wasn’t even a meal, all it was, was a plate of bones and juice disgusting grrr nearly chocked on a bone

unfortunately the 2 lamb Henry's we bought from Heron foods consisted of 5 bones with very little chewy meat on them very disappointed they were supposed to be a treat as I am an OAP

While shopping at our local store my wife and I noticed a pack of Gilbert's Lamb Shoulder steaks. The picture on the pack looked appetising and showed a good portion of meat. When we got home and started to prepare our lamb meal we noticed that each pack contained very little meat and a lot of bone. Once cooked we took out the bones and a large piece of fat and weighed them. Together they weighed 198 grams. The remainder was a lot of gravy and very little meat, three small mouthfuls each to be exact. Luckily we had a couple of lamb steaks in the fridge which made it a decent meal. The gravy by the way was excellent but considering that was all we got from the pack, very expensive.
