Just tried to buy 2 bulbs totalling £6. Despite the website advertising that cards are accepted this is obviously not the case as the rather rude shop assistant abruptly asked me if I had cash (obviously not or I would have paid in cash) and promptly informed me that she would not accept my card payment. She failed to inform me what the limit is for cards, £10? 20? Who knows. Just to add that you can buy bulbs for a fraction of the price online so I would have thought the bank charges they incur would explain the inflated prices? A shame because I usually like to support local businesses.
