THE LADY IN THE BOREHAMWOOD BRANCH IS SOOO RUDE I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

I have been having my 2 cars MOTed at your Folkestone branch for 3 years but this week the customer service I received was absolutely appalling. My car failed its MOT because the bonnet wouldn't shut even though it was fine the day before. I asked if someone could have a quick look at it for me but was told abruptly it was something they wouldn't do. I left and went home, I spent 5 mins oiling the catch as it had seized and it worked perfectly. The next day I was in Folkestone and rang to ask if I could pop in for a retest. I was told there was no slot even though it would only take a minute to check it out. I went back today and surprise surprise it took 5 mins to pass. I complained to the Mr R****** the tester that this could all have been sorted on the day with a bit of goodwill (which I would have paid for) but he couldn't care less. The staff had no idea how to deal with an upset and disappointed customer, I explained they had now lost my custom and the fact that next year I had 5 cars in the family to MOT., but again they could give a dam. Indeed Mr R****** said if that's your attitude we would rather you didn't come back!! I pointed out the fact that they had opposition across the road and the fact that when I came in 2 days ago another customer came to complain after he was charged for wheel balancing 4 wheels that still had the old lead on them and had clearly not been done, he to was dealt with in a very unprofessional manner. Again I was told to get out and clear off and which point I did lose my temper and swear at the staff upon which Mr R****** said he was going to "fucking bash my head in". very professional indeed. I would suggest anyone steers well clear of this company as it's staff are rude, unhelpful and offer a very poor service.

National Tyres in Inverness promised to replace a hub cap three months ago. They admitted responsibility as both my hub caps immediately fell off after having tracking done. I have phoned four times and been in four times. I went in today and asked about it the manager C***** was unapologetic, arrogant, rude and aggressive. I will never use them again. I am an AA customer.

Just drove into the Ashton branch to get a tyre looked at, drive 1 meter into the workshop to avoid a member of staff having to come out in the rain. Could see from staff expressions that for some reason they were not happy with this. Got the tyre checked, on returning to the car I saw the staff exchange comments which included the word w__nker which was clearly aimed at my husband. Appalling customer service, they either need to go on a customer relations course or need to find a job which doesn't involve dealing with members of the public. We won't be returning and will advise others not to aswell

I was given a price for a budget tyre of just under £50. The manager then went on to say that because of a promotion I was able to have 2 x Continental tyres at a price of £113.50. I explained I did not have much money and only intended to get the one tyre but I agreed that it did sound like a very tempting offer so I went for it as the cost was not much more than 2 budget tyres. When taking a closer look at the tyres a week later I was shocked to see that I have 1 x Hifly tyre and 1 x Infinity tyre fitted. These are both budget tyres and are not what I was sold. If it was just a budget tyre I would have only purchased one. Also the Hifly tyre was the wrong size, punctured 3 months after fitting and seemed like it was much more worn than the infinity one making me think they probably fitted a part worn tyre they had taken off another car. I will not be using National Tyres again and have warned many people about using this garage. I gave National Tyres the opportunity to address the issue with a complaint to head office but as expected nothing was resolved.
