Not happy as I revived a parking fine due to staff not knowing what they are talking about! We parked at this venue at the stated times and purchased a ticket from WHSmiths We went into WHSmiths as per the instructions on the notice board instructed. We were issued a parking ticket (we think it was £5) which we were told to put in the window of our vehicle. We told the gentleman who served us we also had a caravan and asked about parking bays. We were told we could park in any bay we wanted. My partner thought the guy who served us seemed uncertain and questioned if that was all we needed to do and was reassured that he just display the ticket. We were not asked for a number plate or make of vehicle. While making the purchase we engaged in conversation with the guy on the till and can give you the following information about him; He said it was his first and properly his last day as he did not like the job. He is usually a teacher, he was foreign we think Spanish ? He was late 20s early 30s and was balding. I assume other people who parked there have also been issued a parking notice and that we are not an isolated case as there must have been a mistake in the process by the cashier ? very upset about this fine having done as instructed by WHSmith staff. Which has cost me £60! Best regards
