The best fish and chip shop in Sandhurst. Great value for money. The family are lovely x

Can't beleive the last reviewer they must go to a different skippers than the one my Wife and i have used for the past ten years that we have lived in Sandhurst.We normally have fish and chips i can honestly say we have never had a problem with it . Have tried other items on the menu, the Burgers are very good and they are cooked fresh in front of you.I would have no problem in recomending this Family run Fish and Chip Shop.

Skippers is a very nice friendly family run, traditional chip shop. I live locally and have used it regularly for 16 years.

dry hard chips, sausages taste like they bought the cheapest they could from the cash & carry, savaloys are always cold in the middle, their burgers have gristle in them, the chickens not bad but you cant choose your cuts.. your told what pieces can have or they wont serve you! the pies are Pukka pies which they microwave.. you might as well buy your own from Tesco for half the price.
as the competition for take aways in college town is fierce this chip shop ticks over quite slowly, which means most of the food has been sat around keeping warm for ages.
best to avoid Skippers imo, theres much better chippys about locally,
M* L**'* is b********* or the f***** f*** in s******** are many levels above the low quality of food served at Skippers in college town.
